Are You My Manager?

In a world full of greed, corruption and lies... how is it possible for an honest human being to survive without throwing away every moral value one has for life? How can a talented, creative, artistic, conscious individual ever succeed in a world of exploitation without selling out to corporate deceit?

Allow me to paint a picture for you. Imagine it's 1993, and there's this regular, every day, single, blue collar worker (delivery) guy in his 20's... who, because of the cost of inflation and the lack of wage raises, was eventually forced to move back home with his parents (in his 30's). He still works and now pays half as much money for rent, which is all he can afford. A few years pass and the economy gets worse... because of this, his employer begins downsizing their work-force, in order to stay in business... and he is let go (fired in 2003). He is then "denied" the 3 months of unemployment wages that he paid into for the past decade. After a few months of having no luck finding a new job, a friend is able to get him job... but only for a few months as this company (a Chevy Dealer) had recently filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy (in 2004). So even his friend would be out of a job soon as well.

The parents, who are both still working at the time... would never throw their 35 year old child out on the street. They encourage him to explore this new thing called "The Internet"... thinking that it would help him find employment. But the guy see's a whole new world that he never knew existed. He begins to learn many new things. These things inspire him to utilize this powerful new tool called "The Internet." He eventually decides to broaden his horizons and have a go at 'online' self-employment (in the field of music composition and production). He makes a few waves within the industry and gets a few leasing deals done. He makes a little bit of money here and there, but not nearly enough to support himself.

A few more years pass and the music deals cease (even though he's now on iTunes and Amazon). With the support of his parents (in 2007), he then decides to expand into digital graphics, webdesign and video production. He produces thousands of works of digital spiritual healing art, thousands of free educational conscious videos and hundreds of media based websites. He creates his own clothing line with his original artwork. He begins learning 3D modeling programs and creates his own line of 3D printable metaphysical esoteric jewelry. The only thing missing from this equation is a manager... which is most likely the reason why this regular, every day, single, blue collar worker (delivery) guy doesn't make enough sales to even support himself... let alone have or support a family and home.
